Kitchener Road Ascot

This traditional style, dual street frontage house was in need of a modern makeover. We were guided by a strict council character overlay to the front of the house, which presented a challenge for us to maintain the existing façade whilst converting the interior into the modern design statement it is today. In keeping with the existing front of the homes character, the front rooms remained relatively unchanged. The rear of the house was demolished to create five bedrooms, theatre, gym, rumpus and a remarkable master bed quarters featuring a 7m long walk in robe. The open plan kitchen and living areas that open further to alfresco dining with a plunge pool are the highlight of the property.
